My name is Simone, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the Year 2 teacher at La Berëzka Academy. Originally from South Africa, I bring a rich and diverse educational background that shapes my teaching philosophy and approach. I hold a Postgraduate degree in Education along with an Honours Degree in Education, these are complemented by a Bachelor's degree with majors in Performance Arts and Marketing.

For over eight and a half years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students of all ages in South Korea, from curious kindergarteners to ambitious adults, across both public and private school settings. These experiences have given me invaluable insight into different learning styles and the importance of tailoring my teaching to meet the unique needs of each student.

Currently, I am pursuing my Master's degree in Metaphysics, having previously transitioned from a Masters in Education. This academic journey has broadened my perspective, enabling me to take a holistic approach to education—one that nurtures not only intellectual growth but also social and emotional development.

My educational philosophy is rooted in holistic learning, where I believe that education should nurture every aspect of a child's development. I strive to create an engaging and supportive environment that encourages curiosity and fosters a love for learning. By integrating various pedagogical strategies, I aim to cultivate critical thinking skills and emotional intelligence in my students.
