Ms Sidra
Pre-Nursery Teacher

My name is Sidra Salahieh, and I am passionate about educating young children, with several years of experience in utilizing innovative, child-centered teaching methods. I was fortunate to have been educated in international schools from a young age, where I earned the demanding International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, which deepened my understanding of international educational cultures, particularly British and American. My mother, a professor of English literature, instilled in me a love for the English language from an early age, nurturing my passion for languages and opening doors to numerous academic and professional opportunities.

My teaching approach is both rigorous and creative, aiming to foster the linguistic and intellectual development of children. I have also had the opportunity to teach English, math, and geography through play-based methods and other pedagogical approaches. My training includes essential aspects of child psychology and parent support, which I continue to develop through daily practice.

After obtaining a Master’s degree from the American University of Beirut, my journey has been enriched by an international perspective and research experience, allowing me to bring diverse viewpoints into my teaching. I am particularly committed to values such as tolerance, acceptance, and integrity, which I strive to instill in the children I work with.

I focus on building genuine relationships with children and their families in a warm and stimulating educational environment. My interest in Russian culture and history also helps me integrate more effectively into the educational community while adding an international dimension to my work.
